The childhood ‘tomboy’ in me is ALL ABOUT THE SNEAKER TREND. Did y’all catch my enthusiasm with the all-caps text? I’m a shoe lover for sure and heels (or wedges) are definitely my go-to selections of choice, well and boots of any kind. (See my latest Shoe Haul post here.)
Ok well, honestly I’m an equal opportunity shoe buyer/lover and the whole point is, I’m down with the cute tennies and the ability to actually not fall while running around town. With or without kids. I’m clumsy okay?
Have y’all ever twisted your ankle while walking? Like, you didn’t really trip over anything specific but you turn around after near falling just to see if anything was on the ground that possibly messed up your step? I do it ALL THE TIME. Spoiler Alert: Nothings ever actually there.
My husband will then, out of his deep love for me, question the shoe choice I am wearing to say that maybe I shouldn’t wear ‘those shoes’ if I can’t not die while walking around. Point NOT taken: I carry on. Because, shoes.
Life parallel here: Stick with me. Sometimes, we make choices that aren’t always the best for the situation because we get stuck in our head that we want something and therefore, we proceed with our own desires despite wisdom. Kinda like that time in Vegas I ended up crying because I couldn’t walk in my ridiculous gold heels any longer but I wanted to wear them SO BAD that I just ignored the fact we’d be walking around that dang town for MILES. And I basically almost died. He walked into a Walgreens to get me some flip-flops and I sported those in my cute cocktail dress. So, therefore stubbornness = UGH.
Sneakers are kinda like the good advice we get in life that we don’t always use because we think we know better. Hold the mic God, I’ve got this one. Meanwhile, he’s backstage trying to tell us if we would just hold out for the right timing, HIS TIMING, the audio equipment will be fixed and everyone won’t hear our broken voices. Am I making sense? Buy shoes, win at life. The End.

They are SO COMFORTABLE and fun and run pretty true to size! 😉 My current tee is sold out but I linked some of my other faves right now. You just can’t go wrong with graphic tee and high waisted jeans! 😉
